This Free Reset Is For You If

😔 You've shouted at your kids today, or this week, and the guilt is still sitting with you.

đŸ˜© You're touched out, nothing left to give, and can't remember the last time you felt like yourself.

💔 You worry about the look on their faces. You carry it around longer than you'd like to admit.

đŸ€Ż You know what you're supposed to do. You just can't do it when you're running on empty and the kids are loud and relentless.

💭 You want someone to actually explain what's happening - not just tell you to take a breath.

What You'll Get Over the 5 Days

Why it keeps happening (and why it's not about patience)

Shouting isn't a you problem. It's what happens when you're already running on empty and the kids are loud and relentless and everyone needs something at once. Understanding that is where everything starts.

What your body has already been trying to tell you

Before your voice rises, your body has been signalling for a while. Chest tight. Jaw clenched. Heat rising. You'll learn to read those signs - because there's a window where catching the build-up early enough is still possible. This is your window to change the outcome.

How to repair without the shame spiral

Your child doesn't need you to never mess up. They need to know you come back. You'll get a simple, honest repair framework - short, to the point, and focused on reconnection. No grovelling, no over-explaining, no replaying it at midnight.

Why some days are impossible (and what's actually behind that)

Sleep. Hunger. No time to yourself. There are real reasons some days tip you over before the morning is even done. When you can see what was already wearing you down, you stop asking what's wrong with you - and start understanding what you actually needed.

The difference between guilt and shame

Guilt says 'I can do better.' Shame says 'I'm broken.' One moves you forward. One keeps you stuck. You'll learn to tell them apart - and interrupt the one that isn't helping.

Why This Works (Even When Nothing Else Has)

Most parenting advice tells you what to do. Stay calm. Take a breath. Count to ten.

It assumes you have something left to draw from.

There's no shortage of parenting content online. Very little of it starts with the psychology of what's actually happening in your body and your brain before your voice rises. This does.

Over five days you'll understand why shouting happens, what your body has been trying to tell you before it does, and what repair looks like without the spiral. You'll also start to see the build-up for what it is - not a sign that something is wrong with you, but a signal that something was already wearing you down long before it came out.

The right tool for the right moment. That's what this is built around.

Why I Created This Reset Foundation

Hi, I'm Dr Nicola Sutton - a psychologist and mum of two who helps mums who keep losing it with their kids figure out what's actually going on and what to do about it.

I created this because I know what it's like to shout at your child and carry that moment around all day.

I'm a psychologist. I teach this stuff professionally. And I still had to learn how to do it in my own home, with my own kids, when I had nothing left and everyone needed something at once. The theory doesn't automatically transfer. The skills have to be practised in the exact moments that push you over the edge.

That's what this is built around. Not what you should do in theory. What actually works when you've already got nothing left.

You're not broken. You're a mum running on empty - and there's a real difference between those two things.

Here's What Happens Over the 5 Days

Day 1: Why You Yell (And Why It Makes Sense)

Shouting isn't about lacking patience or being a bad mum. It's what happens when there's nothing left to draw from and something finally tips you over. Understanding that is where change starts.

Day 2: What Your Body Is Already Telling You

Before your voice rises, your body has been signalling for a while. Chest tight. Jaw clenched. Heat rising in your body. You'll learn to read those signs - because there's a window where catching the build-up early is still possible, and this is where you start to see it.

Day 3: How to Repair Without the Shame Spiral

What you do after a hard moment matters just as much as the moment itself. You'll get a simple, honest repair framework focused on reconnection - short, to the point, no grovelling, no over-explaining, no replaying it at midnight.

Day 4: Why Some Days Are So Much Harder

Sleep. Hunger. No time to yourself. There are real reasons some days tip you over before the morning is even done. When you can see what was already wearing you down, you stop asking what's wrong with you - and start understanding what you actually needed.

Day 5: What You Know Now - And What Comes Next

A look at what you've built this week and an honest conversation about where understanding takes you - and what the next step looks like when you're ready for it.
